YES! YES! YES!.......Let's go after HILL-BILL

I am juiced. No I am not drunk but I am pumped up after tonight's debate. Enough of this bickering with each other, let's go after the Dem's!!! It is about time. The Hill-Bill campaign is dirty to the core and republicans, not just Obama supporters, are chomping at the bit to get a piece of that action. I can't wait to hear all the "right wing" conspiracy whining from the Hill-Bill train. I think I can even say the whines for them (you see Hill and Bill are a "we" running for Pres. not an "I" so I will no longer separate the Siamese twins who are fused together in their quest for the big house, after all Bill has fond memories in the oval office, and the memories don't include Hill). I say take the gloves off. Democrats are so confident that the President is so unpopular that they can take it all in the fall. Memo to Dem's: Congress's approval rating is in the low 20's and the Presidents is pushing in the high 30's, don't be so confident. I am not sure why the birds are not accompanying me to bed like the Dem's promised. Where is the sun. Please make it shine. And while they are at it maybe they can do my laundry and dishes, shovel the snow in my drive-way, rub my feet and give me a hug. I am waiting for the days of the fabulous Clinton era of the 90's when all was right in the world. The sun rose and shined bright everyday under Bill-Hill (not Hill-Bill) because of the magic of their policies. Of course the sun is much hotter and brighter today because of global warming but Al was too busy back then inventing the Internet to change the weather for us. But now he can. The economy was so great under the Clinton machine. The stock market wasn't inflated at all by false accounting practices, Enron, Worldcomm, and I remember a smell of roses in the air almost always. NOT. OK seriously folks I am ready for the fight to get ugly. I really am. I have read other bloggers who are ready too. I say attack the dems. Go for the jugular. IT IS TIME!!!!

Hey, Nikki. If the Republican candidates start attacking Hillary, they'll be doing Obama a huge favor. Right now, he's the one taking jabs at her, and it's making him look petty. Edwards is standing off to the side, waiting for his moments to step up and say that he's above all that. (Which he did the other day, with that question of how many poor children is the Obama-Clinton feud feeding.)

I don't think that attacking Hill-Bill is going to help solidify the Republican base, because they're already pretty anti-Hillary. If the Republicans were smart, they would let Obama continue his attacks on Clinton, and they would aim for Obama instead.

Also, "Al was too busy back then inventing the Internet..."

Ha ha. Too funny.

great point Mike........It will help Obama and that is fine with me. And he will be too easy of a target in my book. His last couple of debates I thought he looked ill-prepared for some of the questions. thanks for chiming in!!

Hmmmm.....
One post says, "Go for the juglar," and two posts down you're honoring MLK for non-violent means!

Hey Nikki, I had no idea that you were such a fantastic writer. I think you should have a column in the New York Times or host your own live debate with some of the other bloggers for the candidates to see how America views them ........What do you think?

By the way, cute pictures on the Carbs and D.Coke Blog. Jake looks so much older to me! I love the picture of him on the fence!!

Hey anonymous I wish I knew who you are?? Thanks you for the compliment......come back so I can say hi!!! who are you who who who who now tell me who are you?......:)Nikki

Chatti Patti... thanks for reading my blog and commenting......going for the jugular doesn't mean literally slicing Hillary's throat and killing her. It is called satirical sarcasm to make a point in an extreme way. The point of my blog is to incite conversation about issues and I use sarcasm and exaggeration to get my point across. thanks for the challenge and yes you can be conservative and admire MLK Jr. at the same time. My honoring MLK had nothing to do with his non-violent stance. Of course this is admirable, but his speech spoke truth with eloquence and passion and that is the purpose of my honoring him. Nikki :)

I think my sister Knows a little about the Definition and Usage of sarcasm. She Is after all a highly educated Administrator (Prinipal) with a masters degree in education. I heard a rumor she was going for her doctrate some time soon. I do see her point as well. Most republicans feel the way you do. I myself remember the good ole Clinton days too. 99 cent a gallon gas, and lots of inflated company bottom lines! In typical elephant fashion you seem to have selective amnesia when it comes to our economy Under Clintons Leadership. But im sure your 401K account remembers those days! Biting the hand that feeds is so Arogantly Republican. Do I like W? sure i think he is a decent man, but decency doesnt pay the bills. Oh by the way I would trade a power leader that gets some nookie over a crook like Nixon or Reagan any day. How many republicans does it take to waste away a multi trillion dollar national surplass? JUST 1.

King Coby said...

A point that republicans often forget by the way.

King Coby......First of all I LOVE the fire in your comment!! OUCH...Many people who read my blog are offended at first but they get used to it. I was not trying to be condescending to your sister I am sure she is a well educated woman, but to infer that I promote violence is simply not true so I tried to explain myself. I like people with opinions to challenge mine, I welcome it, but unfair interpretations need to be addressed. She didn't seem so sure if I was really trying to harm the former first lady or not, so I clarified. No need to be defensive about it, I am sure you both are scholarly people.
You are obviously a Clinton supporter and that is fine. I didn't think Bill was a terrible President I just don't think he is responsible for all that was right with the 90's, just as I don't blame Bush for all of our ailments now. If the President has that much control over our nation we are in trouble. Just the same I neither credit nor blame Bill for anything in the 90's. And I do think people who look to the government for their pocket books to be filled are institution leeches. The unseen hand that gently guides the economy may be something you buy into......I do not. How do you know the 90's Utopia wasn't because of economic policies in place by Bush 41 or Reagan that were just coming to fruition? You don't know, you only get to brag about the awesome 90's as the powerful Clinton machine filling our pockets with gold.....Capitalism doesn't work that way. Nobody gets rich because of government policies. And before you start in on what I believe as a republican, I must say that assuming is unfair. This blanket philosophy attachment to one party or another I do not buy into and neither should you.
A surplus to me says, High taxes and more money for the government to waste. I appreciate you coming to my blog and commenting! There are plenty of people who are not courageous enough to do that....The philosophy of my blog is that clarity is far more important than agreement. I am not trying to convince anyone my opinion is right.....I really don't care if anyone agrees with me or if I piss them off. Pop in anytime to rip me a new one. It has happened before. I can take it, I am a big girl........Nikki :)

Me? Scholarly? ::::loooking both ways::::: LOL!

I really like yuor blog b/c I don't agree with any of it!! LOL! One thing for sure, I know I can learn a lot from a person like you! You go girl! And as for my brother....I love him to pieces!! :-)

Yea! "Can't we all just get along?" LOL....

In my book 1+1=2 Simple economics come into play here. You SEEM knowledgable in this subject...Now prove it to me. In your profile you explained that your a homemaker, a noble and honorable prosession. If your husband brings home 5,000 dollars a month and you pay out 5,000 your budget is balanced, you would agree? Now if your Hubby brings the same 5,000 and you pay ot 6,500, well now theres a problem. How do you pay the other 1,500? Now you have a deficit. Every Government in the world minus a few republican backed emirates exsist solely on taxe. Bush was handed a balanced budget with a 3 trillion dollar surplus. We are now 8 years later obviously because of the wisdom of the Grand ole Party in a 2-3 trillion dollar deficit. Common sense tells that is trickle down stupidity of the previous administration. All that said, the common mantra of republicans is no new taxes but what they are really saying is don't tax ME. How do we pay off the deficit created by the present administration? Well theres only one way. Tax ot pass the buck and BORROW and BORROW and BORROW until you can no longer borrow. Your sons and daughters my son and my sons son will end up paying for irresponsible spending and Bridges to nowhere. I'm glad your doing well and your family isnt hurt by this sadistic regime, unfortunately you are not the rule rather you are the exception. By the way I am a businessman and spend my day earning a living in the financial world. Give me a line item detail of proof of the miraculous work done by Big bush or Ronald Reagan that affected the tech boom of the 90's. Just 1. Blogs are great and ths one is too but it is just that a BLOG not based in fact rather opinion. Fact is if you can prove to me that america is better off today than it was in the 90's I'll eat my words. Gotta go to my night job right now to earn extra money for gas!

Nikki said...

KB.........First of all you are intellectually superior. I am sure you know more than me about economic matters I don't dispute that. I can tell by your needing an extra job to get by that you are an excellent financier. I know very little about economics and business. But I do know that deficit spending is necessary in times of recession and after 9-11 (something Bill never had to deal with, and probably neglected the threat of terrorism badly, but that is a different subject) it was necessary, and from what I can tell the Bush tax cuts helped the economy which until recently has been strong. except for democrats who like to bitch and moan. And just so you know I don't need your resume nor your sisters resume and you don't know me so please keep my resume out of it. I don't assume people are smart or dumb based on their political views. I think they are different not stupid. You may deem your philosophy as factual and more intelligent and that is fine. I think it is opinion. There are a kajillion economists who could debate you all day long with an opposing view. And please don't forget the republican held congress was the author of the "balance the budget" bill. Can you prove that the recession after 9/11 didn't occur because of the high taxes Bill Clinton put in place? So for the sake of argument I will stipulate the 90's were awesome (even though we made very little money and paid taxes every year, now I can blame Bill for my misfortune and I do). Bill is the best President that has ever lived and Hillary is his twin. Now that this is stipulated I still think they both SUCK and Hill/Bill will never in a million years get my vote. if you want to do a little write up on the 1-2-3's of economics please feel free. oh and how did Bill and Al create the Y2K errr tech boom again? that interests me very much. Those 2 are amazing. Controlling weather and technology. you are right they are magic. excuse me smarter.

patti.....no need to get along.......arguing is so much more fun!! :)Nikki

One more thing King Coby......I have no problem giving kudos for points that are well delivered, but it is difficult for me to dissect a comment full of condescension.....This is my blog and candidates are fair game for me to make fun of. I am wary of people whose politics stem from a party or candidate they deem 100% correct on every issue this lends no one any sort of credibility only superiority....I don't see my party that way nor the candidate I support.

good comeback, nikki
first, king coby.. researching her profile before slamming her for only being a 'noble housewife' is a little creepy. what were you doing? seeing if she listed a profession or education level that wouldn't allow you to make your stupid generalizations so confidently?? giving Pres Clinton credit for the '90s "boom" is ridiculous. Give me some hard facts that either he or Al Gore were responsible for the emergence of the internet age. c'mon! be serious! FACT - internet, AOL, yahoo, & amazon emerge in 1994. Ebay in 1995. FACT - NASDAQ explodes from 600 to 5000 between 1996 & 2000 not because of Bill Clinton, but because of the dotcom craze raised billions in capital with NO earnings! Dot-commers in their 20's & 30's were millionaires overnight (or were they?) FACT - wages and benefits in 1999 were growing at the slowest pace they'd been in the past 20-25 yrs. why? because employers could offer stock options instead. and how did that work out for them? when that bubble burst...it hurt. millions of jobs, life-savings, etc. that market correction was inevitable regardless of who was president. add to that the terror attack on 9/11 and even economists like you can do that simple math. FACT - the Dow crashed 550+ pts in Oct 1997 and 350+ in Aug 1998. Clinton's fault? NO. Uncertainty in Russian and Asian markets among other factors were the cause. Sorry Kobe, I didn't read your profile before responding... I didn't see if you are a sports fan. Just like when a new college coach takes over a program, the first year or two he's playing with the prior coach's recruits. be careful with your blame and credit on any prez when we see there are MANY factors that actually have more impact. Using your logic Bush would have been better off losing in 2004... FACT - U.S. home values rose 32% between 2000-2005. He could have got out before this subprime mess corrected itself (see '90s tech stock above). then I could have blamed John Kerry for my ARM loan and longingly wished for the Bush days when my house was worth so much more! good post Nikki. keep it up.

King Coby said...

Well pardon me all over the place! My family did well under democratic rule and it does fine now. The Dems could run a dog for president and will win the white House in 08. America has had enough of Republican rule. Nuff said? Its just my opinion but I wouldbet money on it. Happy days are here again. By the way i bet you just wait for the next golden nugget of knowledge that spews from Rush Limbaughs pill filled belly. Oh but he's a republican celebrity so it ok for him to pop uppers downers and rape lil white house aids! lol. And so the pot stirs, now get me turkey pot pie!

Nikki said...

KB..... is that turkey pot pie comment a slam about me as a homemaker? You wouldn't be sexist would you.....oh forgot you are a democrat it is impossible. dems monopolize tolerance. except for republican women who choose to stay home and be a mom. I am sorry raising a child isn't more intellectual. and I don't listen to Rush, like I said before don't ass ume you know my ideology. You are stereotyping democrat and that is a no no in your party.

CHATTI PATTI said...

Sexist, he's not.

As for stereotyping: Ms. Nikki...
you're entire blog is filled with the stereotyping of Dems! C'mon, girlie!

I agree with Maria...I'm intrigued with your blog b/c it gives me a different perspective on my views. I admire your spunk! :-)

I have to agree with Coby...
the White House is going to belong to the Dems in 08. America is ready for change. There will be either an African American or a woman as the United States President. Better yet, a woman Pres. with an African American Vice Pres! Get ready, America!

To TAX MAN: Looking at someone's profile is not creepy! Why is it posted if it isn't meant to be read? I read Nikki's profile before I read her blog. Am I creepy?

Going for the "jugular" might be entertaining for Rep's, but I doubt it's going to help them get in the White House.

::::covering my "jugular" with both hands:::::::

First off, Nikki, I'm an admirer of women, not a denigrator of them. That happens to be why I'm going to vote for one!!!!!

As to your comment about me being a sexist, I suppose your hatred for Hollywood would be the reason you didn't recognize that my quote about the turkey pot pie comes directly from the Breakfast Club (movie).

As for the creepy TAX MAN, you talk a really good game. If your psuedo economist theories hold water give me a line item from George Sr.'s administration that proves your point that they fueled the tech boom in the LATE 90's and not Clinton's economic reforms that allowed that tech boom to occur. I'm sure your 401K did very well, or were you old enough to have a 401K then?

Given your sports "analogy" to be true, in typical republican fashion, the shoe never fits on the same foot twice. You give two year credit to "W", for what? A two dollar increase in the price of gas?? A 2.5 trillion dollar deficit? A pork barrel bridge to NOWWHERE?

I served proudly in combat under George Sr. and "W" ain't NO Sr. Let me make myself clear on this quote (also coming from the Breakfast Club) "SO GO BURY YOUR FRIGGING HEAD IN THE SAND AND SING SAD LULLABIES WITH YOUR POOR DRUNK MOTHER IN THE CARRIBEAN CUZ IT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN."

I make $31,000 a year and I have a home and I'm not about to throw it all away on some punk like you. what are you gonna do about it? you think anyone's gonna believe you? you think anyone is gonna take your word over mine? I'm a man of respect around here. They love me around here. I'm a swell guy. You're a lying sack of #$% and everybody knows it. Oh, you're a tough guy. Hey c'mon. Get on your feet pal. Let's find out how tough you are....easy dude! go see what current US senator has the most 'earmarked' pork belly items. I'll give you a hint... her hubby's DNA is on your blue dress in the closet. I'll save the economic debate for intelligent dems with better arguments than "my sister is smart" and "my dad can beat up your dad"... If you did serve our country, thanks!

Nikki said...

I believe the full quote is....."Shut-up Bitch and go fix me a turkey pot pie" yep you are an admirer of women. very respectful too. I can see where Imisinterpreted your movie quote. I apologize what could I have been thinking. stayed tuned Hill/Bill lovers if you hated this post you will HATE my next post!!!
