This is MY blog

While I appreciate my readers and the comments that I receive, I must remind those who wish to leave comments that constructive comments are always appreciated even in disagreement. However I will begin to monitor the comments if they are such to incite an uncomfortable atmosphere on MY BLOG. Thank You, the Management.

When you decided to publish your thoughts into words on the internet, you handed it over to the public. In the business world it is called micromanaging. You want to be able to blast your horn but you want to control your readers thoughts and comments.Your recent posts are confusing. As a Molato I dont buy into your effort to prove that you are not racist.Your words about Sir Obama leave a bad taste in my mouth. It is the same taste and tension I feel around biggots who tell me I am not like all other negros. The same tension I feel when people say they are not racist because they have one negro friend from high shcool. You seem to be panicking and trying to back paddle because there is a good possibility that the next president will be of a different color, culture, and religion than that of yours. In your attempt to back paddle you still continue to have bursts of detestation, hosttility, and venom for the democractic candidates. You are all over the place with your thoughts.Sounds like you are trying to appease your one black friend yet turn right around and walk back to your high brow group of elitist. You become easily agitated when you are not being praised and glorified by your readers.Ever heard of Cabrini Green?Ever cared about Cabrini Green? You appear to be intelligent but lacking the nobility it takes to be credible.

Anonymous, first of all thanks for reading and commenting. I find your comment interesting for several reasons. This is not a blog of objective information. This is a blog of opinion, my opinion. While I realize I tick a lot of people off and there have been some aggresive posts towards me personally and I don't think I should have to take abuse. I don't care if someone has a differing opinion but there is a line when the disagreement becomes hostile and threatening. Call it micro- managing but I call it good sense. Also you criticize me for lack of credibility and nobility and your commenting anonymously doesn't speak highly about your nobility nor your credibility. I put myself out there for all to read and do not hide, so your point is hypocritical at best.
As for me being racist because I criticize one black person and praise another you prove the very point of my last post. Your support of Barack Obama appears to be emotional and not substantive. My point was to illustrate the moral superiority democrats are touting in 2 viable candidates not based on content but gender and race. You have so eloquently demonstrated this idea. If Barack Obama is not elected it will be because America is racist. It won't be because he is too liberal and is hostile to conservatives. It won't be because we disagree with his foreign policy or his imaginative idealism, it will be because he is black. I think that in itself speaks volumes of where the left is in this country. I am tired of the race card injection into every issue. I am not appeasing anyone with my support of Condi Rice. I am making a point. Your moral superority is exhausting. You yourself used your "malato" race to give yourself moral authority on racial subjects. Now that you have identified yourself as malato you can call me a racist with some authority because you know one when you see one because you have experienced it. Do you think I have experienced prejidice in my life? Where were you when people were taking shots at Mitt Romney because of his religion? Did you speak out against it?? And if you did is it because you were appeasing? In reality you do not like my criticism of Barack Obama because you think of him as more than a candidate he is a statement of racial piety or a natural obligation. which is my point. I see a candidate with no record. I would be happy to throw Barack Obama a dangling chad if he were anywhere near my core values or philosophy. He is not. So he is fair game in the world according to Nikki.....I am sure you trash on Bush and some of the conservative candidates and I don't think that makes you a "reversed" racist. Give a compliment where one is due on the right and it won't be appeasement only objectivity. Nikki

one more thing anonymous.....I think you gave me a great topic for a future post. I think your positioning with Barack Obama is doing him a disservice. In the future Americans could have the conception or misconception that some if not all criticism of Obama were he to win the Presidency will be seen as racism by the left and his supporters. Crying foul every time there is a critque of Obama will injure the candidate. The fear of being called racist everytime there is a disagreement will scare some voters from supporting him. He deserves to be measured by his credentials just like any other candidate. Influxing race into his candidacy is not fair to him. This is a handicap you are handing him with your sensitivity to criticism. He himself does not speak or think this way and you are handcuffing a candidate that is reaching beyond his race, but not his political philosophy. You making this a race issue is not helping your candidate. "Racist" is used as an intimidator in an argument, this will work against Obama and become a spoiler because a black President can't be criticized without the racist card being played. Nikki

Race! Race! Race! Why does everything always come back to race? Seems like no one can be proud of their race without being called a racist. If you are Anglo and proud, then you are called a racist or member of the KKK. If you are African American and proud, you are accused of being on the board of NAACP or a Panther. If you are Hispanic and proud, you are accused of being associated and in deep with LULAC! If you are Italian and proud, you are accused of being in the Italian Mafia!! Geez, Louise. We are all proud of who we are, what color we are, what religion we are, and what political party we belong to! I wish the word racist could be wiped out of Websters! In defense of Nik, this is HER BLOG. She owns it, has the password to it, and the t-shirt to go with it! LOL! Understand that she can wipe away your comment at the click of a button. Right, Nik? I think what is being said here is just be decent in your arguements. That's all she is asking. She welcomes arguements but not vulgarity. I think thats the jest of it all.

Chatti Patti... And of course no one will be hurt more by this dialog than Obama himself. Will the reaction to criticism always be lined with racism? Unfortunately there will be those who will play that card and it is harmful to all of us and not fair to Obama...thanks for opining!! Nikki

Mr. Obama is a big boy. i am quite sure he can take care of himself. I see racism every day, and to be truthful I could care less about. Ignorance begets Ignorance. I am lucky enough to be a minority, so my opinion on the subject is life not opinion. White Anglo Saxon America cannot get away from its past. Deal with it and go from there. I don't know many non minorities that arent blatent hypocrites when it comes to race. Even in the most diminuative situations it always comes to the surface. Trust white america????? NEVER.

"This country was founded on prejudice and thrived on slavery of all sorts. Your Forefathers were not MY forefathers. Your Forefathers stole land that was rightfully ours, not to mention the native americans. Your forefathers brought an entire race of humans to their New World and enslaved them. The back bone of the South was built on the sorrow and tears of the oppressed. Your forefathers were kicked out every civilized nation in Europe". By the way, this is not my quote I am only providing it as a base for my contempt for the status quo. It was actually a very prominent African American that immortalized those words. I'll leave it up to you to figure out who said it. It does ring true though! Thanks for the question anonymous!
P.S I really enjoy your forum nikki! lets agree to disagree
