Hmmm... It seems that Gore was saying that the US should be supporting the Iraqis who were moving toward democracy and resisting Saddam. Seems like a good idea. The interesting thing is where he says that the Sunni resistance and the Shia resistance and the Kurdish resistance were all starting to work together. How different is that from the Iraq that W has given us?

Side note: George HW Bush also encouraged the Kurds to rise up and resist Saddam, but then he pulled his support and stood idly by while Saddam butchered them.

And anytime I see a clip of Gore, I get a little tear in my eye thinking of how different things would be if he had been rightfully awarded the presidency. :)

I'll put up the full clip if you'd like its awesome Al calls Iraq a terrorist state and all sorts of tough talk about the region...he has changed his tune. very political. democrat=opposite of Bush no matter what. That is the new definition of a democrat. Don't be sad, you are going to be a famous writer one day, just like Al haha. :)N

I LOVED Chekezi...and I couldn't have disagreed more with their critiques of his performance. If it is about vocals, his was by far the best vocal of the night in by untrained ear. Hopefully he will get an offer in the biz. I don't really have one in particular that I am pusslin for, I like several of them. There were some I disliked because of personality, but they are mostly gone, and the rocker dude is a bit arrogant. Of course I like the little mormon crew David Archuletta and Brooke White. yes this is much more fun to talk about...:)N
