Salmonella Tomatoes...Bush did it

Lou Dobbs is sitting on his micro-managing sanctimonious governmental high horse. AGAIN. The money man anchor turned Ralph Nader of consumer affairs has a major tizzy. Could this be fear-mongering and an alarmist point of view? It would appear that most democrats are more afraid of their own government than they are of terrorists. OOPS, sorry Lou isn't a partisan anything, just an "objective" journalist. Attack of the killer tomatoes and of course Bush and the FDA did it. But there are also the Al Gore cronies calling the outbreak a symptom of global warming. The country has gone mad. Impeach Bush for a tomato salmonella outbreak. How about kick Lou's ass for a seriously bad melt down on national TV, I'd support that action. The media sucks. Lou needs to lay off the red bull.

Lou Dobbs is a complete douche, and he is not a democrat either. Lou Dobbs is a hate monger as well as a fear monger. He annoys me more than any single radical tv personality. He is no more objective than O'Reilly or Limbaugh, or Hannity. But he is almost a bigger douche.

Patti, I guarantee I will give Barack Obama far more fair treatment than most ignorant americans and the biased media have given Bush. :)N

DB...I 100% agree. The others you mentioned are lame-o's and I have a post I am working on about the conservative elites ruining the election for John McCain...stay tuned. :)N

The 'media' sucking whether or not you are a 'Bush lover' is not the point. The point is that those with a microphone or word processor in the media have gone so far off the cliff when it comes to reporting on anything that can be hung on Bush, whether it is a responsible claim or not. All the socialists on the left fail to realize that government controlled American lives will not run smoothly. Ever. In any agency. The government is too big and there are too many layers of bureaucrats. Like in public education, for instance.

At the end of the piece I see a glimmer of honesty that it is Congress' backlog of legislation that is the hold up on new FDA laws. That's where the wheel rolls. Congress is too busy with mock hearings with Scott McClellan and others to do real work.

So, the FDA is all of a sudden got this bad because of Bush. All of a sudden. It's another incompetent government organization. That's the reason the FDA can't do it's job. The government fails at pretty much everything it does, which is why we pray no liberal gets elected, becasue we'll have more failed government programs we'll have to pay for. That's my rant.

To be honest, I like Lou Dobbs. I like him the same way I like Bill O'Reilly. I just think he's dead wrong on this one. Dead wrong.

I hear he's also to blame for the common cold! Good grief, salmonella has been around forever. Perhaps the people growing the produce should be sure their employees are washing their hands?!?!? Keeping the processing plant clean?!? Do we need their mothers to talk to them??!?
