Jesse Jackson vs. Barack Obama

I love a rivalry. Jesse Jackson wants to "cut his nuts out", he said when referring to Obama while in a private conversation, oops, with the microphone on. He said Obama was talking down to black people when discussing his plan to continue Bush's faith-based initiative program. I don't think this was staged(but the joke may be on me). I do think Jesse is floundering and making himself a rival to the senator. He is the old and worthless leader of some in the black community and it is on to the new and far more charismatic. He is having a public melt-down IMO. Bummer. But I do love public train wrecks of major losers! I make that same face when I am pouting. Time to make nice Jesse...go to your happy place somewhere over the rainbow...coalition.

Poor old Jesse. If Obama wins the White House, the standard claim of victimization will be over. Jesse'll have to find a new tune.

Good observation Karen, maybe the right can see some good reasons to stay in the country if Obama wins. Jackson going away is good for all of us.

I SO agree with you! Jesse has made a career of being the parade leader in any and every cause that comes up - whether he believes in them or not. His day is over - time for him to fade away.

What the heck would Jackson do with a Black Pres in the WH? How would he remind us of victimization MOST Blacks don't even feel? (My Black friends have always said "He doesn't speak for ME!")

Jesse had some good input in the early civil rights days, but really..the man needs to grow up!

Did you see the wonderful Michael Steele on FOX last night? STEELE FOR PRESIDENT!!!

Jesse just took Obama's comments personally because Jackson is fathering illegits all over the place.

I wonder had it been any network but Fox whether it would have even made the news.
