More BS

I just heard Obama on FOX NEWS say that he supports this "Congressional Measure" WHEN REFERRING TO THE BAIL OUT ...WTF? Does he not know that they went home? Is there a memo? Can we get Obama on the phone? What is it that Congress has done? Does he mean President Bush? I am baffled...Can somebody please explain this to me? I can't get the caps any bigger ok I am going bold...WTF!

And let me just add that the President, as in President Bush, has called on Congress to "ACT NOW"and I quote "This is no time for partisanship, we need to move urgently needed legislation as quickly as possible without adding controversial provisions that could delay action." Hello...Congress is on vacay...they don't know what to do and Obama is holding back, which is another way of saying "I don't know what to do".

Well, at least Obama also supports drilling where there is no oil.

Talk Vs. Action. A special note from an Independent. Out of the two main guys running, I'm actually a McCain fan. Mr. McCain has a track record of working across the isle (everyone is talking about how important that is now) and I believe Mr. Obama is sorely lacking in experience.., also, it doesn't seem like Mr. Obama has expressed a clear platform. It seems like he's busy trying to keep everyone happy with his overstated ability to make a speech, and the only message I keep getting from him is that Mr. McCain is just like President Bush, which, just doesn't appear to be a truthful or accurate characterization of Mr. McCain. I've listened to both men speak and believe that, proven, hands on experience is going to serve the nation better right now, opposed to Mr. Obama's brand of promise and socialistic remedies. One can only hope that if Mr. Obama does win he is a quick study, so perhaps he can do some of the great things he indicates that he is capable of, since, we don't really know if he can do anything but give a speech. (I guess that makes the Democrats the party of hope... "Gosh, I hope he can do the job if he gets it!")

Anyway... I could go on.., but, the newsman/woman/person told me just earlier today that I'm only having the same conversation 41% of Americans are currently having. It appears I'm in the minority of public thought (what a shame). News polls seem to be running the race this time, so, with that said, perhaps we should leave it up to Barbara Walters and the girls from the View to decide.., or better yet, Oprah, afterall, gabbing about "issues" appears to be the core of our contemporary American society (opposed to actually solving a problem), why not have a great talker in charge, then, we would have a leader who could really talk about all our problems and could maybe even talk our problems to death! Wait a minute.., Damn! I think I just talked myself into Obama. Now, how the hell did that happen?!

Unless they discover pictures of him in bed with a donkey in a blue state.., Mr. McCain gets my vote.

Johnnie, I feel like I should post this great comment as a headliner post! I hope all is well with you and your endeavors and high five for the McCain chad you are going to punch in November. I guess my red state and your blue state will cancel each other out, NOT...too many electoral votes for the great state of depression called California. Thanks for popping in and great opining! :)N
