I heard that Sarah dressed at Tina Fey last Halloween. My favorite part was "Hilary" ripping off a chunck of the podium.

I like your official seal of the Democratic Party! Totally ties in to my post today ("Crying Crocodile Tears").

What I loved most was reading in the NY Times, no fan of Palin, that she watched the skit on the plane and genuinely thought it was funny.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that as Tina develops the character, she will set aside her personal politics long enough to showcase Sarah's strengths.

SNL now has me as a viewer, and it has been a long time.

OK, here's my buzz-kill of a take that I wrote back @ Khaki. I normally don't cut and paste what I wrote on my blog, but what the heck, I just got back from vacation and am feeling a bit too lazy to have a new view on things . . .

Fey's impression was quite good, but I couldn't help thinking that SNL was just giving us their same ole take on GOP candidates: Republican politicians have the intellectual capacity of a lobotomized box turtle.

In this skit, Hillary Clinton (who was elected to the Senate in a state where she had never lived because her husband was President) is portrayed as a savvy but bitter politician while Sarah Palin (who rose from PTA mom to Governor of Alaska through her own grit and determination) is portrayed as an ignorant bimbo.

So according to the Left, George W. Bush is an illiterate moron, His dad's stupidity was only overshadowed by Dan Quayle's colossal idiocy, Ronald Reagan was a senile boob and now Sarah Palin is little more than a ditsy beauty queen. I have to hand it to them, what the left lacks in originality they make up for with misguided consistency.
