So, as a conservative who kind of likes Bush, should I vote for Obama?

Nikki said...

Nope...just making a point about the Obamanator acting like his policies are far away from Mr. 30% approval and McCain's are the same...it looks like his trying to distance himself for the sake of his far left constituents is oh so much closer than he likes to portray. This speaks to his politicking and speaks to his credibility. But please by all means press the McCain chad. :)N

Doesn't surprise me. Obama is pretty conservative for my tastes. However, when faced with someone like McCain who is mentally ill, I'll take Obama.

Honestly, I have to say that the article is a bunch a bunk obviously intended to make Obama seem closer to the mainstream than his radical views actually are. He did not support the courts decision overturning gun ban (in fact, he supported the same ban in Chicago and stated that local gov can put into place their own gun bans), He does not support schools of choice (only charter schools), he does not support offshore drilling where there is actually oil (and only recently agreed to that), he supports universal health care, he attacks the patriot act and wants to reduce defense spending, he supports a business tax (that will lead to more layoffs in industrial states like Michigan where the Big 3 are already reeling), etc., etc.,

Obama is as far to the left as one can get and Walls feeble attempt to portray him otherwise is ridiculous at best.

There, I've had my say :-)

Walls writes for the Washington Times. Enough said.

Wow, what a relief, Obama is quite moderate! Go faith based initiatives!

I think this woman wrote a fabulous comparison article for people like you to have a change of heart!

I'm impressed! Notice there was no similarity on IQ....hee hee!!!

Patti...what it means is you can stop hating and blaming Bush for everything. Its time to move on to greener pastures of hatred and start blaming the pea in the pod liberal Barack Obama...I can't wait! :)N

Nikki, look at the condition our country is in. How can you possibly still be defending W. Shame on you. I'm appalled.

Nikki said...

Patti, fair enough. But shame on you for not holding Barack Obama and Joe Biden and John McCain and the other dems accountable for this debacle. I am appalled that you don't understand that fredd and fannie are regulated by Congress...shame on you for not knowing that the President can't act without congress and shame on you for calling Sarah Palin stupid when the very men you support are directly responsible for this economic situation. I find all of that appalling.

When you are in a position of leadership, no matter what happens under the roof, THE LEADER is blamed. The rest of the organization moves on and the leader stays tainted. That's life.

To me life is much more complex than such simple blaming terms. But that is just me. :)N
