Humorous, sarcastic and in your face opinion about politics and american culture
Of course not, Nikki! But one thing I DO notice in this letter. My signature does not look all that bad compared to some of these guys!
Just lucky, I guess!
It's incredible what the public thinks about this man. It's just the power of the media.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if anything was done after this letter? They warned, but did someone act?
Hey, I see my signature at the bottom!
The republicans tried to act during the hearings but were blocked by Barney Frank and a host of Dems who were filling their pockets with $$$$ from Fannie and Freddie . . . not to mention softly tossed accusations of racism for daring to attack the growing practice of subprime loans. See it all here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs
the thing that kills me is the kool-aiders don't care.they just hate bushwhich in itself is asinine because they didn't get the memo that Bush isn't running.
Bush isn't running? Wait a minute, I thought Obama said . . .
hey sage, you calling me an ass? wtf?! lol!i agree with sandi on this one.
Here's another letter... But don't let the facts get in the way of your agenda. Best of luck at the polls! You're gonna need it. LOL
"Obama sounded the alarm on subprimes" after he set into motion the chain of events that caused financial markets to implode. Stop over and see what I have to say about Our Country, Our Econoomy. The purpose of looking back is to learn where we went wrong; it also helps us decide on a course of action in the future. If we fail to vote wisely in this election, we will be doomed to repeat our mistakes.
Evil Poet, 2007, talk about after the chain of events already started...I could have written that letter.
Like I said - don't let the facts get in the way of your agenda.
Yes the facts in your link do say that this letter is in fact true...and the fact remains that Obama and his crystal ball are no where to be found regarding this issue. Where is the Senator's statements or predictions previous to the economic ball already rolling? No where to be found. Your link confirms what the letter says I appreciate the link.
Sure thing Nikki. Despite Claims Today He Warned of this Crisis, McCain in 2007 Said He Didn't See This Crisis ComingPeople can try and out run the truth but eventually it catches up with them. It doesn't matter who they are - everyone reaps what they have sown. If Obama wins and ends up being horrible I will stand up and own my mistake in judgment. IF McCain wins and ends up being horrible - will you?
Absolutely...but you and I both know the truth is often skewed by what we want to see and what we choose to google. You can't run away from the fact that Obama claims to see things and predict stuff before it happens and claims superior judgement on a regular basis...and until you or any other Obama supporter can admit that he is a mere politician and will say and do anything to get elected, then the point is moot. McCain is a politician and so is Obama. Conservatives are the ones who nit pick their guy to death and the left sees nothing wrong with Obama EVER. That is a problem. NO ONE saw this coming to this extent and to claim otherwise is foolish there is no doubt. My beef is with Obama claiming to have "known"... that is such a lie. His constant "I knew" is under my skin and that is the point of the post of the letter...I don't see an Obama signiture despite his claims that he "warned". McCain may not have seen it coming but Obama had no clue either and should not benefit from this crisis PERIOD. In my mind anyone in Congress right now deserves to be fired and that includes the 2 running for President. They are responsible. This happened on both of their watches...and to give one advantage over the other with regards to this issue is ridiculous. So don't misjudge the post, its not to claim superior judgement on McCains part, but to disavow Obama's claim of predicting it...LIE. :)N
Obama and McCain are both politicians - they say what they need to in order to get votes. In the end, when all is said and done, it's the actions that will speak the loudest.
I agree, but if past behavior is an indicator of future behavior, then Obama is not big on action just big on words. just sayin. But we shall see. :)N
oh man, that is awesome! thats totally going on my blog.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
Some conservatives have a certain kind of Tourrettes syndrome. They shout out the phrase, "Class Warfare!" at irregular intervals.
Oh yes, the super majority Republican controlled Congress. Please do tell why they could make bad law for a brain dead woman violating the sanctity of marriage, but they couldn't get that through?Chairman Shelby was the give away, the majority party controls the chairs. So which Republicans blocked it, and why wasn't John Sydney on the evening news ripping his party a new one?
