Political Junkies Getting Tired of the JUNK

I am a political junkie, but for some reason I am a little tired of the political junk right now. Republicans are hyper-focused on every little or big movement in the Obama administration. Democrats are busy calling republicans names and dissecting the reasons why donkey criticisms are correct and republicans critiques are not. Its all fun and games to me, but at what point does is all just get old and become a merry-go-round of rhetorical insanity? So here is what I have to say to both groups. Memo:TO:Republicans: It is counter-productive to sound like radio active juggernauts bent by the current loss. Let's stop going completely Al Franken nuts. I don't like Obama any more than the next conservative, but acting like cracked-out meth idiots is not going to help. Hyper-down on the alarmist communist/Marxist rhetoric before the white truck scoops you up into the political looney political cartoon grave yard. The communist gig may be true, and I am not arguing against the legitimacy of the argument, but doesn't it all sound and look as retarded as previous Bush derangement behavior? Come on let's not dumb-down to the same level as psychosomatic donkey freaks. Everybody knows this stimulus is no stimulus except the punch love drunk women democrats who want to have sex with Obama and the male type mules who have serious man-crushes on his Obasm-ness. The rest of us are not fooled, so stop acting like jilted obsessed girlfriends who stalk their lost love and put rabbits in boiling pots of water. That should not be our modus operandi. Our mode of operation should be to find a more inclusive attitude within our own party without shriveling up and going into the fetal position when a republican steps outside party philosophy. Man-up and wind down phants. Its only going to get worse if we don't figure out how to offer an alternative to the madness without playing the "He's a freaking communist and we are all going to die" card. Its just such liberalistic behavior. YES, I made up that word. Deal with it.
MEMO:TO: Democrats. U R DUMB.
Yes, I just resorted to name calling. I just can't try to speak to you donkeys right now. This will make you go to your happy place and kick out a phone call to your therapist, its all good, do your thing. It's time for operation inclusive repugs and gettin' jiggy with the moderates and independphants or we will continue to lose more elections. Now seriously don't make me talk to you guys about this again.

I've played my "he's a freaking communist and we're all gonna die card" and came to the realization that it's more fun laugh at Obama than it is to fear him.

But he's still a freakin communist :)

I agree that we need to offer alternatives to Obamanism, but we have to have SOME fun about our president and his Democrats. I know, it is sometimes hard to know where the fine line is. I don't want to oppose President Obama for the hell of it. I want to see the president move to the center. So far, so bad. All we can do is point out the falsehoods of our president and pressure those Republicans to get on offense. It is happening. We live in an instant world and have to realize, politics is not all that quick.

These eight years are shaping up better than I could have imagined.

The right is a step away from being so defeated they start taking dope in the arm.

This is hilarious.

Memo to the Right: Payback's a bitch.

Righty, its not that I don't think the Obamanator isn't a commy, I just think sometimes what is being said in the head should stay there as to not appear...well like a dem. Otherwise make fun out of the deserving! :)N

We don't need to be inclusive we need to be who and what we truly are...conservative. We didn't lose seats because we weren't "moderate enough" , no we lost because those dumbasses we sent to Washington listened to the media and went against the very ideals we sent them there to espouse as our "conservative" represntatives. Take no damned prisoners!

El Cerdo Ignatius said...

What t.durham said nails it. Every area where the Republicans failed, it's where they tried to "compromise" with others who did not share their conservative principles: spending, especially on social entitlements, and the need to maintain a balanced budget; immigration, including the connection between border security and homeland security; and foreign nation-building. (Yes, Nikki, I know in advance that you'll disagree with at least one of these.) And hopping into bed with lobbyists and failing to reform financial regulations was the icing on the cake.

That's why they lost. By the time it was done, their own incompetence had swamped them. But it had nothing to do with conservatism.

Indeed, let's take no prisoners. The USA cannot afford them.

t durham, I have to disagree with you. Not every republican is going to agree with every ideology the party has to offer. So instead of calling them RINO's and not pure enough, it would be nice to just say ok well let's keep you a republican even though we disagree, thanks for your vote. The republican party did themselves no favors by in-party fighting and whining during the election that Romney wasn't conservative enough, McCain wasn't conservative enough, hell I heard it about myself. I don't think everyone needs to agree to be inclusive. But I get your point. Getting back to core values is one thing, dismissing people because they may be more moderate is another. When you vote for a party I didn't see anything on the ballot that asked if I adhered to every bullet point the party believes, I just gave it. :)N

El Cerdo, I think you make a great point. You are right I am not with conservatives when it comes to immigration, I support John McCain and Bush on that. But I am positive conservatives would enjoy my vote. I absolutely agree with you that never ever should Bush or any other republican compromised with the dems EVER! It proved to be his downfall for sure. Great point! :)N

From one of your dumb-ass Dem friends, I'm still so friggin' glad that McBush and Ms. 15 minutes of fame didn't win!

Nikki said...

Sandi, you are just one of my friends! The dumbass dems I am referring to are other dems I don't know! You are the sweetest! :)N

Nikki, I do not think we agree on the immigration issue, but since we agree on so much, I want you and your GOP vote. Being more ideologially pure is important, but we should not be throwing out votes because of some disagreement. I mean, if you wrote that the Three Stooges, Sens. Collins, Snowe and Specter did the right thing in voting for the socialist power grab, er the "stimulus", then we would have a problem! But, good conservatives do have real disagreements on illegal immigration. So, longwindedly, you are still a good Republican in my book.

Thanks righty! :)N
