BEA ARTHUR DIES AT AGE 86...

My husband and I are both big fans of The Golden Girls. He is comfortable enough with his manhood to admit that! Bea Arthur will be missed she was a huge talent and her comedic timing was always right ON! GOOD-BYE Bea...Thank you for being a friend!

My mom and I either would watch this together, or call each other on the phone to discuss. In fact, my brother and I were talking about Golden Girls this morning and saying that Rose always reminded us of Mom. We'll miss you, Bea.

I've been a big fan of Bea Arthur ever since her first appearance on All in the Family back in the early 1970s. Despite the edgy content of some of the episodes, my parents let me watch Maude and I always found it funny. Bea Arthur's guest appearance on Soap, playing an administrator for Saint Peter who appears when the character Jessica has a near-death experience, was a scream.

Good for Bea for making it all the way to age 86. May she rest in peace.
