JANET NAPOLITRENO IS A PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC...

And so is the Obama administration. For some reason my ears are still ringing with THE HORRIFIC liberal cries of phone tapping and civil liberties gone array from the last administration. WHEW, thank goodness that is over. What would we do if President Obama didn't love our FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED Constitution so much. I am sure he sleeps with it under his pillow every night he loves and adheres to it so much. If the case was that the Constitution went down the river last Prezzy go around, then what the hell is this...Homeland Security on guard for 'right-wing extremists'? Is it that they don't like freedom of speech, freedom of thought and freeDUMB to be an idiot? I think that should be a new freedom. Free to think retarded thoughts. Why can't I be a dumb wingtard? Why should I fear the government labeling me worse than a "MAN-MADE DISASTERIST"(aka a terrorist but it hurt their feelings so the name was changed to protect the murderous)? Poor George only wanted to listen to conversations of freaking terrorists and make them think they were sailing down a river on a surf board to get information. Now look at this psycho beeeotch hearing conservative voices in her head and trying to stop them from saying rude stuff about the ODRAMA administration. This administration is certainly not the freedom, civil liberties loving peeps that you left-wing cry-babies thought. What about it? Why is it OK to watch and listen to right-wing nut-jobs and not to potential terrorists....er man-made disaster people? Can someone please explain the difference? I was hit on the head really hard last week and my mom and dad were siblings so help out a DNA deficient gal. Where is the outcry? Where are you liberal Constitution hugging, Bill of Rights watchers of the past? Remember our civil liberties are precious and without them our way of life is threatened and destroyed. Where are the shaking heads? I mean Seriously Janet the "I Hate THE HOMELAND SECURITY DEPARTMENT BUT I AM THE HEAD OF IT" NapolitRENO, needs to smoke some dope and calm it. She is an unhinged terrorist lover who doesn't know if she is scratching her watch or winding her butt. She never did know. Its beyond me how she even got this job. I feel so safe. I now do not have to worry about the right-winged nut jobs. But what about the lefty crazies? Oh yea, they are running the joint. Precious.

It will take a lot time to get out of the 20 foot grave "hairy-bush" put us in.

As for homeland security and feeling safe. Hell yea, I believe Al Qadea is much stronger now. Why? Because "hairy" funded a mission, against everyone but Bin Ladin and his cronies...there was no timetable... open- ended...giving BL and his cronies time to regroup and become more powerful. And here we are. Thank your daddy, "hairy" for this one. Hopefully, our newly elect Prez of the USA can bring us out of the hole. The bottom fell out of this country years ago and America not only spoke...they burned rubber at the polls!!

Why do these liberal Democrat women always wear these nasty lookin' butch hair cuts and wear pant suits? I guess they don't make Democrats beautiful, which explains the anger, especially in this report.

I wish someone would compile a list of terrorist activities by leftists and right wingers in the US and compare them. We never seem to talk about the car dealerships, animal labs, and houses fire bombed.

Then we have It's Me. That's quite an incredible leftard rant there. You hit most of the talking points and, as is usual with these rants, showed no rational thought what so ever.

Thanks, Chuck. You're not the first person to call me retard...

I was just responding to Nik's post as I always do. I never claimed to be a political intellect. Just merely responding.

Bugalow Bill: I laughed sooo damned hard at your response about butch haircuts!! Still LMAO....
Good one!!!

I have absolute zero confidence in Ms. NapolitRENO! Let us not forget that Phenoix became America's kidnap capital while under her "watchful eye" as Governor.

How the hell did this woman get that job?????

Nikki, you're right of course that the government shouldn't be cavalierly monitoring groups just because they "might" pose some risk at some point in the future. Last I checked, we still had the right to assemble (though after 8 years of Bush, who can say for sure?)

Unfortunately, this is the culture of fear that we've been dealt after 8 years of Bush, so it might take a while to ratchet things down to a reasonable level of paranoia.

And Bungalow Bill: sexist much?

Mike H.: C'mon. Was your right to assemble in public really diminished in any way, shape, or form when Bush was in office?

Mike H said...

El Cerdo: Hmm.. How about the "Free Speech Zones" limiting where people could gather to protest?

El Cerdo Ignatius said...

Mike H, I've only heard of "Free Speech Zones" as areas set up by universities, of all things. If you can direct me to evidence of it being proffered by the federal government, I'll certainly look at it with an open mind.

You may have seen this already regarding "Free Speech Zones" that a university in Utah wished to set up. For those that don't wish to click the link, a student at SUU wrote a letter to the editor about SUU's idea to set up "Free Speech Zones" on campus. His letter:

In light of SUU officials plan to designate "Free Speech Zones" on campus, I thought I'd offer my assistance. Grab a map. OK, ready?

All right, you see that big area between Canada and Mexico, surrounded by lots of blue ink on the East and West? You see it?

There's your bloody Free Speech Zone.

El Cerdo, This from The American Conservative magazine back in 2003:

"When Bush travels around the United States, the Secret Service visits the location ahead of time and orders local police to set up 'free speech zones' or 'protest zones' where people opposed to Bush policies (and sometimes sign-carrying supporters) are quarantined."

It's interesting that the Obama administration views homegrown Americans a greater threat to this nation than terrorists.

I think it is funny, BUSH (read: NOT Obama) commissioned this report along with another one investigating left-wing radicals. Oh, and it is a REPORT not a law or policy.

Nikki said...

DB, I am sure you read that in the Huffington Post, but if you want to read the Washington Times, Janet herself says that she "STANDS" by the report...even if the report originated under the last administration, why is it being continued by the new and improved civil liberty loving CURRENT administration? And why are you not bitching about it? Your point is irrelevant. :)N

DB said...

Who cares what the source is? Bush commissioned it. Are you disputing that? (Fox News ironically covered it)

Of course she stands by it, read the report! Have you even read the report? It is 10 pages, check it out. There isn't anything in there other than common sense. My only question is why we wasted tax-payer dollars to warn us of right (and left) wing radicals. It has nothing to do with civil liberties...no one's civil liberties are being stepped on as it is simply a vague and general report about potential threats. No one is being investigated as it is a hypothetical threat assessment. The government does these all the time.

Did you know he also commissioned a left-wing radical report? Had the other report came out first everyone would be saying "Yay President Bush is being proactive on protecting America." Hypocrisy has no ideology.

Mike H, I just read that American Spectator magazine article in its entirety. The first thought that comes to mind is "Holy #&%^&@*!!".

This kind of crap - putting demonstrators into "designated areas" because of the political content or message of the signs they carry, not because they pose any kind of physical security threat or impediment - is 100% wrong. I might be conservative and foursquare against the agenda of the Obama administration, but I'll be deep in the cold ground before I give the Bush administration a pass on this. This is utterly un-American, blatantly anti-constitutional and completely inexcusable. It is a mean-spirited, heavy-handed policy of intentional disrespect toward the people of the United States.

I supported Bush in both elections (that's support, not vote - not a resident of the USA, not American citizen - although I might get ACORN to sign me up in Detroit) over his opponents, not because I thought GWB was a terribly attractive candidate, but because he wasn't the liberal disasters that Gore and Kerry were.

But here's a question I'll throw out to any conservative reading this: if a (nominally) conservative president's administration behaves badly toward its citizens, by arbitrarily chasing them out of certain areas when they demonstrate peacefully and lawfully, and then prosecuting them at the federal level using arcane and untested laws to make an example of them and to set a precedent for future use against other citizens, how do you feel about this? The last line of the American Spectator article, published December 15th, 2003, reads as follows: "But the trend lines in federal attacks on freedom of speech should raise grave concerns to anyone worried about the First Amendment or about how a future liberal Democratic president such as Hillary Clinton might exploit the precedents that Bush is setting."

Janet Napolitano deserves every bit of criticism she is getting for this ridiculous DHS report. But I'm wondering if the problem is not the party running the government. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I'm wondering if, in this day and age, the problem isn't government itself.

Oops - According to Secretary Janet, that makes me an extremist.

Thanks, Mike H, for pointing me to that article. (Crow tastes terrible, by the way.)

DB, I only hope you are consistent with your civil outrage regardless of where the policy or REPORT came from...this administration is obviously continuing a bad gig. :)N
