LET'S TALK ABORTION CUZ NOBODY EVER DOES IN BLOGLAND

So this dead horse is bloody, but I think its worth mentioning again, mostly because Obortion is about to become an o-problem for our O-President. For the first time since 1995, the Gallup Poll is reporting that a majority of Americans consider themselves pro-life. There is no explanation for the shift, but let's just giggle and have fun with this one. This poses a problem for the Obamamama for one big fat reason and its a radical one. His views on abortion are so radical that the next step for him would be to give parents a choice 3 weeks after birth to decide whether they are keeping or smothering the baby. OK so I am exaggerating slightly, but you get my point. I don't think this shift in opinion will change anything in the Obama head, but it will make him do the lawyer turned politician boogie woogie dance of appease and sneeze. The green goo that will come out of his mouth is gonna be so slimy and full of fancy lawyer terms that it will make a 1st grade class of kids with infuenza look sanitary. He will still pick some low-life liberal lesbian to join the nation's High Court. Of course, his policy of bringing "empathy" to the high court is not gonna wash. His empathy only goes so far. Empathy for an unborn child is non-existent for Obastard. As a matter of fact he would no more revive a live fetus in a botched abortion anymore than he would give water to a dehydrated and dying Rush Limbaugh. He is probably the only politician in AMERICA that voted NO to legislation that required medical treatment be given to abortion survivors. I mean the baby was supposed to be dead before it hit the oxygenated world, so let it die already. Don't girls go to jail for doing that after they give birth in the High School locker room? I don't understand the logic here. Empathy SCHMEMPATHY. Its such crap. I can't stand this fraudulently, emotionally centered administration. They are breakin' my achy breaky heart I tell ya!! Who is it they want to empathize with if it isn't the unborn? Poor people? Gay people? Last I checked those two groups weren't in danger of getting their brains sucked out.
I hope Obama can find his empathy "pay grade" soon and start empathizing with the "mistakes" that will be "punished" by his loser, lefty Supreme Court judge he will undoubtedly appoint. The majority of Americans are now interested in a culture of life in the good old U.S.A.
I expect these judges to rule from their hearts and not their minds. Its what Barry wants and I agree. Start the empathy vote now, because we all know deep down in places we don't want to talk about, abortion sucks. It is the weakest citizens Obama promises to fight for. He touts his smooshy wooshy heart as if he gives a damn. Let's demand some intellectual consistency from the sweetest most understanding President EVER. He is the peeps BFF, start showing the love to the babies. Love your live fetus today Mr. President. Resuscitate. Don't hate. Incubate.

Great rant as usual. I didn't watch the Bammer's ND speech (once you've heard his teleprompter you've pretty much heard it all). I'm certain that his performance was full of enough compassionate head tilts and "leftard" platitudes to suck the air out of the room. It simply amazes me that people still buy this crap. Hi Ho.

you really are extreme N. Did you listen to Obamas speech? (Sorry I couldn't finish reading your rant to find out). He was genuine and well received by the hundreds and hundreds in attendence. Some interviewed afterwards said they were surprised by his speech and thought it spoke volumes when it comes down to fair and civilized talk about abortion and the differing points of view. So... you just keep on being so extreme in your views, it gets you nowhere. I'm glad to know those young graduates can have an open mind and can have civil debate over this heartwrenching abortion issue. Just because you rightwing extremists keep on screaming about this does not make it go away. Less abortions under Clinton, more abortions under Reagan and Bush, what does that say about your position on outlawing abortion? Thats why programs to educate and birthcontrol education under Dems is what works the most.

Nikki, you can thank the media for this. He actually voted for that law twice. If this had been properly reported and the ramifications of the law discussed in full, it may very well have costed him the election. The media couldn't have that though and thus shielded him from the public. What he voted for, and I believe the public would have seen this, is murder.

What if someone had had a botched surgery and needed an intervention to save their life. How would the public take it if the surgeon just said "Oh well, that didn't go well, just let her die".

I would like an expalantion on how this position is different than the law Obama voted on. Are they not both viable human beings in need of life saving treatment?

I notice Sue ignored your bit about the law he voted for. Any cooments on this while your discussing radicalism Sue? Any comments about the terminology from the left calling unborn babies a mass of tissue or, even better, a parasite?

It's funny that we always hear talk of tolerance from the left. On abortion as with most other issues such as gay marriage, their tolerance means we need to shut up and fall in line with them.

well nik, you know my opinion on this. i DO understand your passion about protecting the life of an unborn. i get it.

in an almost perfect world, i'd agree with you. but the world is so far from perfect. teaching abstinence is not fail-proof. teenagers have sex. teenagers get pregnant. in my culture, my family and i are surrounded and out-numbered by angry, anti-american losers whose birthlines i'd rather see discontinued. i would HATE to have my daughters make a mistake that would dog them for generations.

i prefer that my daughters have a a choice.

i DO NOT agree with late stage abortions.

and if prez-o's support of it is the key to snuffing out his re-election possibilities i am all for it.

btw, is rosie odonnell really a viable candidate for a supreme court seat? *wink* lol!

nice rant, nik and very thought provoking.

Sue, I am not sure how you know what my position is, I only really talk about the current problem Obama has since a majority of the nation is now pro-life. HIS radical stance is a problem for him since this is the case. Please read the post before commenting if you are going to accuse me of something it will give you more credibility. :)N

Maria, you are a brave girl! I do know your stand on this issue and I don't think we are too far apart. This post is about partial birth or late term abortions, and live abortions. I think your stand is well stated and I see your points as very valid. Thanks for jumping in! :)N

Abortion is going away the greatest human rights violation in the history of mankind. That being said I don't really care how many democrats abort, provided I am not asked to pay for it.

He will still pick some low-life liberal lesbian to join the nation's High Court.Yeah, but Nikki, if it's a young, hot lesbian, we can maybe let that go.

I kid! I kid because I love.

I totally agree with Chuck. If Obama's opposition to Illinois' Born Alive Infant Protection Act had been more widely publicized and discussed, he could easily have lost the election over it. His opposition to giving medical care to babies who survive abortions and are alive and breathing on their own is an act of utter moral depravity. And at the risk of offending our commenter friend Sue, I might call Obama's position extremist.

The speech at Notre Dame was usual Obama stuff: bland, empty encouragement at dialogue on the issues, etc. Such a shame that nominally Catholic university students (and other left-leaning Americans) focus on and lap up uncritically the empty words in the speech, instead of the actions of Obama as a politician. It does no good at all to talk about "dialogue" and "understanding" and "respect" on the issue of abortion if the action we get is opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, and opposition to the ban on partial-birth abortion, and criticism of the Supreme Court Justices who upheld the partial-birth abortion ban.

El Cerdo, I love it that you kid!! Very clever. Great comment! :)N

Chuck, I agree with you and El Cerdo, if the media would have publicized Obama's radical and completely immoral views on abortion, he may have lost the election. But the love affair continues. :)N

Yeah, but Nikki, if it's a young, hot lesbian, we can maybe let that go.And since she would be a justice, I don't think a prison movie should be taken off the table.

Great rant, Nikki!

Nikki said...

You know Khaki I think you are on to something...Obama has got to do something to make the gay crowd and the old horny republican men demographic happy, so it just may work! ;)N

Wow Nikki! Not a single punch pulled! I am glad you caught that poll on abortion. It is just more proof that the base is right and the RINO wing of the party is wrong. We should all step up to Obama and call him out on his callous treatment of the unborn!

Nikki said...

Thanks Clifton!! Obama should be exposed for his radical position on this. He really is hiding behind the "hanger" lefties on this one. Thanks for stopping by, I am so glad to have you in my blogging circle! :)N

While I would never encourage my daughter or anyone to have an abortion, I would also not want to force anyone to remain pregnant who truly did not want to. However, I do not support late term, partials, or anything past the first couple of months. The ideal is that women would not get pregnant until they are ready to carry the baby full term. If they don't want to raise it, there are plenty of people out there desperately wanting to adopt. Sadly, this isn't the real world. And women who want abortions will find a way to get them - backalleys are still alive and well.

It doesn't matter that fifty one percent of the people are pro-life. It could be one hundred percent and the issue would still be a matter of judicial fiat, well out of the reach of the electorate, just like gay marriage in Iowa, Massatuches, and possibly yet in California. And how many of those 51 percent are pro-life in preference rather than action; that is, when they vote they are voting for some form of financial security rather than standing for what is right or wrong?

BTW, you may have some natural talent in long sentences too.

El Cerdo Ignatius said...

Dan, you make a very good point: it doesn't matter what the percentage is. As long as the rights of the unborn are not enumerated in the Constitution, judges and pro-abortion legislators shall do as they like.
